Just reminiscing about Matt’s first ever solo concert last year, and how proud I was of him that day :-) This was the closing number of “Matthew Morrison at the Grove” and he got the whole crowd dancing and cheering. I had a blast standing in the front row and listening to all the people around me singing along and honouring my husband. I am still as proud of him as ever, and even though I miss him while he’s on tour, I am so happy that he’s doing what he loves and that he’s getting the opportunity to engage with his fans. I love you, darling. See you in 3 weeks.

So as much as these 3D scans creep me out, Matt really wanted to see one, so this is Amy today :-) This photo is really strange, I think, but nonetheless that is our beautiful little girl. 6 weeks today until we get to meet you! Amy, you should know that your mum and dad love you so much already and we can’t wait to hold you.

I just rediscovered this song :-) We had it in our wedding dance music and, even though it wasn’t our first dance as husband and wife, it was by far my favourite! I love finding things from our wedding and reliving that beautiful day all over again. Thank you for marrying me, darling. I love you.

This happened today, and it was just to weird/creepy/precious to not share :-) Yes, that is Amy’s foot trying to kick its way through my belly. I love her!

34Where did our blog name come from?
Some of you may be wondering where our blog name came from. Let me fill you in.
Laura and I are both huge fans of Stephen Sondheim (Laura especially raves about him!), and “Into The Woods” was the first Sondheim show we saw live when we were dating. Laura has this crazy long hair that she can sit on, so sometimes I call her Rapunzel. In “Into The Woods”, Rapunzel and the witch sing a duet called “Our Little World,” and our favorite line from the song is “Our little world is perfect for me.” Because it really is. We love our little world. It’s perfect for the two of us, and soon it will be perfect for Amy, too. We’d love to hear about your favorite Sondheim stories, too! Just put them in our ask box.

Today I put the finishing touches on Amy’s nursery - I hung the quilt on the wall, made the bed, got the lamp working and a couple of other bits and pieces. She really is going to be here soon! 6 weeks and 3 days to go. I can’t wait :-)

Today, I rediscovered the photos from our trip to the States last October/November and came across this one. I couldn’t help but laugh :-) Matty, darling, you are going to be such a cool dad to Amy! Mamma will teach her all about princesses, but Daddy will play pirates with her! She is so very lucky and blessed to have you as her daddy. I still can’t believe that you married me and that we’re having a baby and that this is all real. You are my everything.

1Laura showed me this video today. We both agree that Amy needs to be raised on quality musical theatre like Mis, and hence she’ll be just like this when she’s 5. Except way cuter. Good thing she has musical parents, hey babe :-)
